MEDICA, Hall 15, Stand E27, Messe Düsseldorf, Germany, 19-22nd November 2008
JAOtech will unveil its largest patient terminal at Medica Düsseldorf. Arie, an 18.5” Smart Terminal with enhanced processing capabilities is designed to support high resolution graphics used for clinical and diagnostic uses. JAOtech will be showing its full range of terminals, fitted out with the complete 2008 portfolio of accessories and enhancements. These include Sonitor ultrasonic identification, new call LEDs, microphones, RFID scanners and other options.
The new JAOtech Arie 18.5” terminal is specifically engineered to provide exceptional image quality, allowing clinical images including X-rays to be viewed with the required clarity. The terminal is also JAOtech’s most powerful unit, featuring Intel CoreDuo technology to give sufficient processing power to deliver the required graphics capability. Despite this, the Arie retains the fully sealed construction of existing JAOtech terminals as well as the anti-bacterial plastics. It can withstand being deep-cleaned to minimise the risk of transmission of infection through the unit or the screen.
JAOtech has significantly extended the range of options available on its units during 2008, and visitors to its stand at Medica will be offered the opportunity to see and evaluate all of the different accessories available. Terminals can be specified with any of the major access control technologies in use today: smart card, magstripe card, bar code, RFID, biometrics or Sonitor ultrasound. A microphone, a new wireless keyboard and a camera with a privacy shutter can also be added to the terminals.
Also on the stand will be JAOtech’s range of support arms. These now include a new A Frame Arm, ceiling mount, as well as Arcos articulating arms with unique clutch safety mechanisms. |
