2007

JAOtech’s Zivo® and Obie® Smart Terminals™ launched into the market to an overwhelming response. With significant business being transacted in the Healthcare and Retail markets, turnover and profitability exceeded business plan expectation. JAOtech have now proudly registered all existing Smart Terminal™ designs. Product names currently on the market are trademarked along with our two new and exciting developments, the Jima® and Iden®. Both of which are due to be completed and launched by Q3.

2006

Following extensive and detailed research into the developing market opportunity for custom made and innovative flat screen terminal solutions, JAOtech’s concept of the Smart Terminal™ was born. JAOtech Limited was incorporated on August 17th 2006. The founders combined their progressive ideas with the vital needs of the market, with a view to create a globally unrivalled product. Utilising expert design skills, Obie® product development commenced.
