JAOtech is launching its full range of Smart Terminals and Smart Healthcare TVs into the Middle Eastern market at Arab Health, and appointing an Area Sales Manager to strengthen its customer relationships in the region. The JAOtech booth at Arab Health (7D15) will feature its terminals running patient entertainment, clinical and medical records access applications that increase hospital efficiency and revenue, in addition to giving patients a more comfortable stay. 

JAOtech bedside Smart Terminals at the show will include the 18.5”widescreen Arie, 17” Obie, 15.4” widescreen Jima and 15” Zivo. Inix healthcare Smart TVs with 40” and 32” screens will also be featured on the stand. Based on the latest Intel Atom processors, JAOtech terminals are constructed in medical grade anti-bacterial plastics, and are fully sealed for easy cleaning.  Peripheral options on all terminals include a VoIP phone, Bluetooth™, WLAN, a high resolution camera, finger print reader, as well as access control and billing support based on Smart Card, magnetic card, RFID and bar-code technology. Accessories such as ceiling and wall mount arms are also available. 

The demos on the booth will show the terminals being used to provide clinical access to electronic medical records for updating, prescribing and consulting at the Point of Care. Other applications being shown include patient entertainment, film and television, Internet access and voice communications. Nurse service call and hospital management functions such as automated meal ordering are also being demonstrated.
